This application was conceived over a cup of coffee, when I said to my friend Bruce: "What I really want as my home page is my to-do list — that way I might actually look at it occasionally."

You'll find a sample, empty, to-do list at the bottom of this page. Feel free to play around with it. To make permanent lists, create an account (click on the link under the login box at right).

This software is still an early version, so I'm adding features by the moment. Once you set up your free account:

• You can create and manage multiple to-do lists.
• If you choose to "remain logged in," and make this your home page, your list will pop up every time you launch your browser.
• The application will run just fine on an iPhone.

Within a few weeks:

• You can arrange to be nagged by email when a to-do item is about to expire (or every day, if you like).
• We'll support "contexts," à la David Allen's Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity.
• Your to-do list will work inside iGoogle as a "Google Widget."

A Sample List

The following list is "live." You can modify the to-do items (click on them). Move them around (drag them) or delete them (drag them to the trash), create new items, create new lists, and so on. Your changes won't be saved, however. To do that, create a new account by clicking the "Create New Account" button under the login box at the top of this screen.
